We are making plans for another meet up this weekend, please feel free to add suggestions of good bars to visit in Canovas.

The bars must have: cheap drinks, friendly atmosphere and outdoor seating, which can hold at least 10 people or more.

This week we have even more plans:
23/06/11 – Fiesta De San Juan @ Malvarrosa Playa from 23:00/11pm
24/06/11 – Formula 1 & F1 Rocks with David Guetta
25/06/11 – Valencia Social Club Regular meet & F1 Rocks Afterparty.
1^st Weekend of July – Bananas Nightclub.
Late July - Feria de Julio.

Our first social / Nuestra primera quedada 

Our first meeting is Saturday 18th June at Bagoas bar at 9pm.

Nuestra primera quedada es el sábado 18 de junio a las 9 en Bar Bagoas.


*UPDATE*
We are having a few drinks at Bagoas from 9pm Saturday and we'll be there until at least 10.30.
From there we will go to Portland Ale House, where we can get free tickets to L'Umbracle Terraza Club.
We'll leave to L'Umbracle after 1. Hope to see you all there! You can't miss us, we are very English, haha.

Bananas is a mega night-club on the outskirts of Valencia.
It has 3 huge floors of music and even a swimming pool.

The club kindly puts on a free train from 1am on Saturdays, in order to transport all party goers to the club, with a return train in the early hours.

Hello all you beautiful people,

Hola a todos, 

Created in the heart of a burning star (lavish, I know) this group has come to fruition as a means of bringing cool and interesting people together and making new friends.  We are already a core group of people who like to socialise and meet new people on a regular basis. We are predominantly English speakers, who are looking to socialise with other English speakers while we improve our Spanish. We like to meet people of all cultures and backgrounds so non-english speakers are welcome and we’ll accommodate you as best we can.

Este grupo, nacido del deseo de una ardiente estrella (fastuoso, lo sé), se ha madura como un medio para reunir gente interesante y hacer nuevos amigos. Ya somos unos cuantos los que disfrutamos socializando y conociendo a gente nueva de forma regular. Casi todos somos angloparlantes y estamos buscando relacionarnos con otros angloparlantes mientras mejoramos nuestro español.  Nos gusta conocer gente de todas las culturas y procedencias, así que todos sois bienvenidos e intentaremos ayudaros a encontrar un hueco entre nosotros 

The sole aim of this group is to get people chatting along with a having a hefty dose of fun.
The plan thus far are regular drinks at the weekend but we with plans to expand and have a range of different meet ups regularly. Ideas for different societies so far are; partying, couch surfing, language exchanges, fitness & sport, films, lunching and dating etc. 

El único objetivo de este grupo es lograr que la gente se conozca e interactúe, siempre disfrutando de una atmósfera agradable con  considerables dosis de diversión. Así, el plan, de momento, es quedar para tomar algo los fines de semana, pero la idea es ampliarlos más y  conseguir tener unas cuantas actividades y quedadas regulares como: salir de fiesta, intercambio de idiomas, deportes y actividades al aire libre, cine, salir a comer y, ¿por qué no?, ligar…

If this sounds like your cup of tea please feel free to come along, non-English speakers (especially the Spanish) are welcome if you want to come and practise your English. Hopefully everyone will be able to meet people of like mind and socialise in ways that suit them. 

Si te suena bien y como algo en lo que te gustaría participar, apúntate siempre que quieras. A los no angloparlante (y en especial, a los españoles), sois bienvenidos si queréis venir y practicar inglés. Esperamos que todos seáis capaces de conocer gente con cosas en común y podáis socializar de una manera que vaya con vosotros.
